PV Field Hockey
Welcome to the PV Field Hockey Program!
We serve the Spring Ford and Perkiomen Valley School Districts.
Registration for the 2024 Fall Field Hockey Program will soon open.
Registration will run until 6/30. Late registration will begin on 7/5 and will incur a $25 late fee. Please register early.
The 2024 season will begin the first week of September and run through 10/19. Practices are usually once per week and typically on the same night each week. Games are once per week and typically on Saturdays. All practices and games take place on the field hockey fields located behind the Perkiomen Valley High School.
Divisions:
Kindergarten
- This program is a series of 60 minute clinics run on one evening or Saturday mornings. This time frame allows for snacks and breaks. Depending on the ability of the group, the last few clinics may introduce small field game play to ready players for the following season.
1st and 2nd Grade
- This program is a 7v7 format on a half field with no goalies and no corners. Teams will practice once per week with games on Saturday mornings. A typical game schedule will consist of 7 games.
3rd and 4th Grade
- This program is a 7v7 format on a half field with no goalies and no corners. Teams will practice once per week with games on Saturday mornings. A typical game schedule will consist of 7 games.
5th and 6th Grade
- The Seniors Program is an 11v11 or 7v7 format on a half field and full field with goalies and corner play. Teams will practice once per week with games on Saturday mornings. A typical game schedule will consist of 10 games.
All players will receive a reversable team pinney and matching field hockey socks. Players are responsible for providing their own stick, shin guards and mouth guards. Cleats are recommended but not required.
